The roof we are currently installing on this home just west of Calgary is 24 guage standing seam steel cladding. This type of roof has an extended life (up to 70 years), and given the west and north exposure of this home, this type of roof will provide above average protection from the high wind this area commonly experiences.

The high performance underlay you see us installing below is permeable, meaning it wicks and respires to remove condensation. This is important given the snow loads and melting cycles the home will endure over the years.
